Please read before you buy.

Gave it 3 stars because when I received the tote it came in a thin plastic bag that had a cut in it, obviously from the postal service at some point and thankfully it was in a dust bag or else the bag itself probably would of been altered. When I opened the dust bag to get the tote out I was met with a very very STRONG chemical odor to the point it gave me a headache and I had to put it out in the garage to air out. Before I put it in the garage I looked it over and noticed it has a small black mark under the logo which is super annoying but I decided to suck it up because I need a work bag. Besides the odor being extremely strong and the black mark the bag is as advertised and will fit a 40oz Stanley.

Love it BUT there are a few things that could be improved

I love this tote so much and I use it every day. I love the pink interior and all of the pockets. Here are my wish list items for future generations of this bag: I wish is that the laptop sleeve was built in. The removable sleeve takes up a lot of space and is pretty bulky. I am hoping they release the multitasker with the built in sleeve in cream, or find a way to come out with a go getter that has a separate laptop compartment built in. It would also be super cool if the trolley zipper had something to secure the zipper, having the zipper pull unsecured makes it easy for the pocket to become unzipped, so I am careful on what I put in that pocket. The only other thing I wish is that there were more pockets on the inside on the zipper pocket side! Otherwise it’s amazing.

The vegan leather is buttery soft. The details are impeccable. The colour I chose was sand and this cream colour. The colours are fairly accurate to the pictures. Highly recommend!!

My mom loved it!

It is such a cute bag and so functional! Great for travel and work which is what I needed it for. My only problem (if it’s really a problem) is that once my laptop is in the sleeve there’s not a ton of room for a pad folio without stretching it pretty tight. Not a huge deal for how much I love the bag otherwise!

Absolutely Love It!

It is the perfect office bag but I will also be using it for travel. I have a larger laptop so I was worried it wouldn’t fit but it does, It even fits in the sleeve. Love all the pockets and the fact that it zippers at the top!

Such a cute tote bag!

It has everything I need in a tote bag. The color is so gorgeous and neutral. I also love the pink interior and different compartments and pockets. It’s also the perfect size and can fit so much stuff! It doubles as a diaper bag for my kids too. I’ve been raving about my bag to everyone! I’m only sad that I didn’t wait until the crossbody strap came out.

I have three!!!

I love the Sidekick so much I have three of them! It has been my go-to purse for a long time because it is so easy to dress up or dress down. I had it in Black and Chestnut and decided to get it in a summer colour. The Sand is a really beautiful and creamy shade. I like that there aren't any yellow undertones in it. It goes with everything so is super easy to style. I wear it behind me at waist level making it feel like a purse but weightless like a backpack. Love this bag. Definitely recommend!

Happy with the size of this but sadly disappointed in the color. Definitely more of a peach then sand. I cut the tags inside but then when i left the house and seen it in the natural light i was disappointed and when i contacted Poppy’s they said they cant do anything. No customer satisfaction once the tags arw cut.

I’ve been using my Sidekick purse for a little while now, and I’m honestly obsessed. I have bought the Commuter Backpack in March 2023. Not even a year of use (on top of that I use it only twice a week!) the zipper has splitted twice and unfortunatly Poppy and Peonies can't do anything because it's been more than 90 days. I've never paid that much for a bag and honeslty the quality is very poor. Very disappointed about the quality as my 'cheaper' bags are all of better quality.

Awesome bag!

This is great for work. It’s so much better on the back than carrying something over one shoulder. With that being said, slightly thicker straps would be sturdier. But overall, I would recommend this to anyone.

I work a hybrid job and going into the office is a day by day decision so I find myself not wanting to keep double of everything (one at home and one at the office). This bag is perfect for that. I have the regular sized downtown purse so I thought I’d try the mini as well. I’m so glad I bought it! It’s a great size that fits a lot and the colour (cream) is great. I wish it came with a shorter strap in addition to the crossbody, though (like the bigger size).

Listen, this bag holds the giant sized bags of Mini Eggs

Waited until my birthday to purchase this bag and boy was it worth the wait. This small but mighty bag holds everything you need. Hand sanitizer, lip stick, keys, sunglasses, your journal, and a whole giant bag of mini eggs (yes, I put a whole bag in there because I didn’t want to pay for a bag at the store). Stylish, compact yet holds everything. Love! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there are multiple threads sticking out all over my bag and for the price you pay for this brand, the bags should be sent out perfectly. Otherwise - love!

Purse is fine. It holds a lot. Wish it had an exterior zipper pocket for frequently used cards. I don’t find myself choosing to use it as much as I should for the price.
I use my sidekick and laptop bag daily.
Also wish the bag was actually made in Canada not off shore. Part of decision to purchase was Canadian made, indigenous , female owned but turns out not made in Canada just designed. Smash and Tess have a good job identifying which items are still made in Canada and which are not. Would be great if you could do the same with each bag.

Fun little summer bag!

I really enjoy the look and feel of this bag! It fit all the essentials I need in a day and also is compact enough to store away when not using. I think the only suggestion I would have is to make the handles a little longer so I could wear it over my shoulder.

My voyager bag

I love the bag but the video I watched said comes with a cute travel wallet for passport, boarding pass etc. There was no wallet. That's my only beef. Love the bag otherwise

I was looking for a bag to bring on a plane. It is a beautiful bag, convenient space but unfortunately i find it to heavy. I cannot bring it on a plane with me as a personal item because it is not compliant. As a carry on, it is heavy to carry around especially if I have to walk between terminals. For these reasons I returned it :( if a smaller and lighter model comes out i will buy it!
