I bought this backpack to use as my personal item for an upcoming flight. Now, I was flying on a budget, so no carry on, no checked bag, 5 day trip…. Will it stand up to the test? It so did!! Not only could I fit my entire trips wardrobe, toiletries, and an extra pair of sandals, (with skillful packing!) but it was comfortable, and the straps remained strong, even with all that weight. I couldn’t believe the space inside, and the extra pockets made organization so much easier. I love this bag!!

I really love my backpack, unfortunately it arrived with a hole in the leather on the very front. I immediately contacted customer service, and it’s been over two weeks with no response. Hopefully I hear from them soon after the holidays, and if I do I’ll update this review.

I was debating getting this bag for so long! I looked at countless leather backpacks and none compared to the elegant look or perfect size of the one that Poppy & Peonies has available. I am a law school student and it is the perfect backpack for stylish but functional and carries all my stuff without any issues. I have been using it for a few weeks now and am so happy I made this purchase!

This bag would be perfect if it were 2" deeper from front to back.
As it is, there isn't enough room to have a pair of shoes, lunch, and a light jacket in the backpack. These are essential to battle the frigid temperatures at the office in the summers.
Even if you designed a shoe bag and/or a lunch bag that could be attached using a carabiner, that would make it more useful.

I really like my bag, very stylish for work. The best part - loads of pockets. It does not fit as much as I thought it would. Once I placed items in the mesh pocket, then the inside was only able to fit my 7x9 notebook. I opted to use the padded computer section for my iPad Air. It's a good bag, but it has limitations.

Commuter Backpack black

This is the best backpack ever! It’s so versatile and cute. I use it for work and store my laptop, travel monitor and keyboard with room to spare! I’ve also used it for traveling for weekend trips. Truly a one stop shop

I have bought the Commuter Backpack in March 2023. Not even a year of use (on top of that I use it only twice a week!) the zipper has splitted twice and unfortunatly Poppy and Peonies can't do anything because it's been more than 90 days. I've never paid that much for a bag and honeslty the quality is very poor. Very disappointed about the quality as my 'cheaper' bags are all of better quality.

Best bag ever

I loooove this bag. First of all it’s SO cute. Secondly, it’s so spacious with soo many pockets!! I put my laptop, lunch bag, headphones, wallet, and sometimes even a sweater in there. I love that it doesn’t look super huge or bulky even when it’s full. Also I never have to worry about where I put my work keys because of the key chain inside the bag! 🥰 my favourite backpack as a self proclaimed back pack connoisseur

Love everything about this bag!! Its very light and can hold everything I need as a carry-on when I fly! Love the three different strap options! The inside and outside pockets are perfect sizes. Allows for great organization. I don’t have to dig around to find what I want, which is usually a common problem for me. Love the blush pink color too! I also got wallet and the tech pouch which I’ll actually use for lipstick, hand wipes, and stuff like that. Great set!

The Quality so far has been great and has tons of space. It’s practical and stylish. Loved it.

I love this backpack. The straps are very comfortable, it provides a lot of support, and it’s so beautiful. The interior pockets are great for organization on the go. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the leather seems to have some discoloration but it’s only cosmetic.

I’m new to Poppy and Peonies and for my first order, I purchased the En Route. It is my absolute favourite. I have been using it daily. So well made and it fits everything I need- including a separate compartment for my phone. The bag opens on the side so your things don’t fall out when you open it.

I am not usually one to write reviews, but I truly love this bag! It is both stylish and functional, and allows me to easily access my wallet or phone without dragging it over my head as most crossbody bags. I purchased it in brown and will likely get it in black too. Thank you Poppy and Peonies!

I bought it for my mom who still likes to be fashion but needs to bring more things with her (water bottle, etc) and cannot use a over the shoulder purse anymore. The size is perfect. She can bring all she needs without being in a bulky bag. Let's her hand free. She's so happy.

This is a beautiful bag with a lot of storage room & pockets. The best thing is that the strap is adjustable to wear the bag on the right or the left.

What’s there not to love? This crossover bag is absolutely stunning! The material is soft and there’s tons of room for all my things! What a well-made product that is the perfect colour for fall! If there’s anything from this company that I needed it was for sure this bag!

Love the color and quality

Terrible customer care. Didn’t respond to the email even for over 7 working days excluding the weekends.

They don’t send proper documents to postal office, and it was held by customs and returned back to them.

And when I inquired about it, they just decided to be lazy and not investigate the reason for the delay. Straight up ignored/refuses to look in to the reason, told me to contact uk postal service, when it never even got to the uk postal service.

Then they refunded it, but excluding the shipping costs, like it was my fault it got returned. Like how can they charge me shipping for something that never came to. Left a couple of messages and emails and then they did eventually refund the £21.

Yes they charge premium shipping costs but use terrible shipping companies. Terrible customer care , international customers please avoid.

Honestly I was a customer who wanted the product, had they asked me what I wanted to do I would have asked them to resend it, but they didn’t even give me the option.

They have now stopped responding - but I’m yet to see the refund in my bank.

When I received the bag, there were some loose strands on the straps which I found annoying considering the price, but I shrugged it off. I have now only used the bag ten times going to and from work, always being gentle with it, and the corner is already wearing off. This is extremely disappointing. I thought I was investing in a quality bag for $125 but to already be showing such wear and tear after only TEN days of use is so disheartening. I was thinking about purchasing other products from Poppy & Peonies but no longer have faith in receiving a good quality product for the price I am paying.

Arrived extremely damaged and unwearable , company did not offer any solution except a shipping label, but i am still of the hook for the original shipping costs ($15). Extremely neglegent company.

This bag is great. The material and make is very high quality. It's large enough to fit everything I need in a day and more - great work bag. I love that it has a spot for my water bottle however I wish that part had an adjustable strap to fasten it in... when I wear the bag in my shoulder water will leak and get into my bag (since it's made for a Stanley with a straw).

I am a long time lover of Poppy & Peonies - I have the cross body bag and matching wallet, I have a beautiful black bag for night's out and nicer occasions, and now I have this work tote that is perfect for my new job! Love the size, the pockets, the details. I will continue to spend far too much money with this brand! :)

Was very disappointed. I purchased the bag right before your Black Friday sale (unfort) and it hadnt shipped before the sale started due to a postal strike in Canada. So a lady reached out to me asking for another address besides a PO Box #, so I gave her one (a friends business location I had to ask permission to do). As it was quite delayed at this point in getting shipped from when I purchased it, the sale was well underway at this point. I casually asked her if I could get credit for the sale price since it had not shipped yet amd I just barely missed the sale as is. Not only did I not receive the sale price, she didn’t even write me back to say yay or nay. Very disappointed in this-service and how I narrowly missed out on a $35 savings!!!! At least write me back at the very least and say no!

Perfect size, just what I needed.

Because I have no physical office, I must carry my supplies with me on-the-go. And this tote is perfect to keep all of my supplies in one organized spot. I like numerous pockets as there is a place for everything and everything has its place. It seems very wellmade. Tho am hopeful that the zipper does not break like it did for another product from this company.

I love my tote and have been using it everyday since I received. But I noticed today that some of the fabric has been "rubbed" off and I see the underlying grey colour.

A bit disappointing as I haven't had the bag that long, but a great bag none the less.

I didn’t give this bag a 5-starting because when I had a question for customer service, no one responded and one of the flaps by the zipper fell off only after a couple of uses.

DOWNTOWN CROSSBODY Cream

This everyday crossbody is perfect. Not too small and not too big, it has the right amount of compartments, zippers and pockets - love the dual front pockets where I can tuck my phone, keys and work security card in, no more searching now that everything has its place! Lots of space without items getting lost. Fits my Margaux wallet plus lots more. Love that it's a crossbody and sits perfectly once I adjusted the strap to size. One bonus I wasn't looking for but love is it fits amazingly in my Go-Getter (also in Berry) so I'm completely prepared when heading to the office without having to carry multiple bags.

I purchased the Everyday Crossbody for my upcoming travel few weeks ago. I am super happy with my purchase as the removable inner clutch worked perfectly to carry Passports and cards securely while the main crossbody size after expanding was just enough to carry essentials and not have a heavy purse to deal with while on a two plane journey between continents!

Gave it 3 stars because when I received the tote it came in a thin plastic bag that had a cut in it, obviously from the postal service at some point and thankfully it was in a dust bag or else the bag itself probably would of been altered. When I opened the dust bag to get the tote out I was met with a very very STRONG chemical odor to the point it gave me a headache and I had to put it out in the garage to air out. Before I put it in the garage I looked it over and noticed it has a small black mark under the logo which is super annoying but I decided to suck it up because I need a work bag. Besides the odor being extremely strong and the black mark the bag is as advertised and will fit a 40oz Stanley.
