The built in wallet function on this bag is so convenient as a mom with two small children. Love how much I can fit in the bag without out it being huge. My only complaint is on the strap of the bag the loop that holds the straps together from the buckle always falls down. The strap is becoming worn because of this.

I love the look of this bag and the functionality of the wallet compartment which alleviates the need to have a wallet on hand. I actually am finding it a bit large for the purpose? I would prefer if the front compartment was slightly skinnier, which I know may be an unpopular opinion, but I take this bag when I am trying to pair down what I have on me and I find it slightly bulky for that purpose. Otherwise love the quality, look and feel of the bag!!!

Absolutely love this bag. Perfect for every day use. As someone who just throws my cards and money into my purse instead of a wallet, I really liked having a separate part of the bag that zips up and is dedicated for this.

A little disappointed in this bag. Not sure if it was because it didn’t come in a box, but there is like a crease, or wrinkle across the front of the bag. If it was on the back I wouldn’t care as much. I also wish the strap could be a little shorter. Other than that, its a nice size.

I work in a hospital, lots of people carry backpacks. This is by far the cutest I’ve ever seen!! It’s a long walk and to from the parking lots where I work so being able to throw everything in and go is a must!! Perfect Bag!

I have purchased many commuter backpacks over the last couple of years and none of them have been what I needed. This bag is perfection. I just took my first trip with it and I could not be happier. It fits my laptop and charger as well as my Kindle, water bottle and everything else I could possibly need! I love this bag!

I am obsessed with my backpack! I have been keeping an eye on poppy and peonies since november and when the sand commmuter came back in stock I jumped at the chance to get it! So soft and so much storage. It looks good for business wear and i get so many compliments. Had a zipper malfunction within 90 days and emailed the company with an immediate response for a remedy! LOVE this brand!

Beautiful backpack. It will be perfect for all of my belongings for when I go back to school.

Commuter Backpack Sand

Love the material. The bag is soft and luxurious. Yet resist to scuffs. Love the color - Sand is a great spring and summer color. Love the design. Organization is the key. Packed the backpack for a trip. It held all the things I wanted to take. Including my laptop and tablet. And it fit under the sit in front of me on the plane. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have bought the Commuter Backpack in March 2023. Not even a year of use (on top of that I use it only twice a week!) the zipper has splitted twice and unfortunatly Poppy and Peonies can't do anything because it's been more than 90 days. I've never paid that much for a bag and honeslty the quality is very poor. Very disappointed about the quality as my 'cheaper' bags are all of better quality.

I love this backpack. The straps are very comfortable, it provides a lot of support, and it’s so beautiful. The interior pockets are great for organization on the go. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the leather seems to have some discoloration but it’s only cosmetic.

So far this bag is awesome! Holds everything I need all while looking stylish. One thing I would recommend - having detachable backpack straps.

I really love this backpack! Its spacious, beautiful and has so many pockets that carry all I need. The best part is the balance. So many backpacks fall over when you set them down. Not this one! Stands on its own, full or empty.

I bought this backpack to use as my personal item for an upcoming flight. Now, I was flying on a budget, so no carry on, no checked bag, 5 day trip…. Will it stand up to the test? It so did!! Not only could I fit my entire trips wardrobe, toiletries, and an extra pair of sandals, (with skillful packing!) but it was comfortable, and the straps remained strong, even with all that weight. I couldn’t believe the space inside, and the extra pockets made organization so much easier. I love this bag!!

Used my new commuter bag on a few flights. The sturdy vegan leather feels more protective than my other fabric backpacks that I was using prior.
Kepts all my liquids and electronics safe during travel. I enjoyed and appreciated the strap on the back to slide over my carry on handle while standing around in lines etc.
Just love the overall look of the product. Very stylish and functional. Fits a ton of stuff - packed all my supplements, make-up, toiletries, surface pro laptop and all my charge cords + water bottle and snacks for flights.
Would recommend, especially for frequent travellers.
I have my eye on other products now, knowing that the quality lives up to the hype.

I absolutely love this bag! I use it everyday to go to work and it fits everything I need perfectly. I also love the key chain hook, I'm always losing my keys in my bags. It's also really soft on the shoulders unlike other backpacks I have used in the past. Even when its full and super heavy it does not feel that way on my shoulders :)

I really love my backpack, unfortunately it arrived with a hole in the leather on the very front. I immediately contacted customer service, and it’s been over two weeks with no response. Hopefully I hear from them soon after the holidays, and if I do I’ll update this review.

I was debating getting this bag for so long! I looked at countless leather backpacks and none compared to the elegant look or perfect size of the one that Poppy & Peonies has available. I am a law school student and it is the perfect backpack for stylish but functional and carries all my stuff without any issues. I have been using it for a few weeks now and am so happy I made this purchase!

I needed a back pack to travel as I wanted my hands free. I looked around a few places on line and I was suggested to have a look at this Canadian brand. You will not be disappointed, the quality is great and looks great. The bag holds so much I was surprised. I have not bought anything from Poppy & Peonies before and would look at their stuff again if I needed anything.

I was starting a new job where I had to dress more professional and I was on the hunt for a new backpack that would help me look and feel a little more put together when using it. I came back to this bag for weeks and finally just decided I was going to try it (bought in cognac). I am so so happy with this purchase. It fits quite a lot and is the perfect backpack for work, is cute, stylish and practical! I looked over so many of the reviews. I was worried about the smell that some people had mentioned, which I didn’t find was the case at all. I also worried about the straps being too small as some had said. Honestly I don’t find them too small or thin, they’re pretty standard and are very comfortable! Doesn’t cause any pain and I think that the quality is pretty great. If you’re thinking about it, just do it, you won’t regret it!! I also decided to buy the Sidekick and Margaux wallet and I have just placed another order for the On The Fly mini backpack for travel! Super happy with everything so far!

Perfect backpack for work!

I was eyeing the commuter bag for at least a year before I bought it and my only regret is that I waited so long. The bag is spacious enough to carry my office essentials and then some. They literally thought of everything when designing it. My only "critique" is that I wish they'd swap the inner mesh with solid fabric because my wallet zipper keeps getting caught on it and im scared it will rip.

Love love LOVE this bag! I can’t wait to start using once school starts back. I have been using it occasionally now when I go out and I’m obsessed. The color is perfect and the matching wallet fits well inside or in another purse. I also feel comfortable carrying the wallet on its own. The backpack hold 2 laptops, my iPad, kindle, in addition to, my wallet and small toiletry bag, very well. I like how everything has its own place instead of one big bag. The laptops fit nicely in their own slot and their are slots for water, and zippered area. Overall great bag that I can’t wait to use more!

I already use a go-getter tote as my everyday work bag, and chose to upgrade to a lighter bag for summer. It has all the pockets I need to carry everything for my day, and it looks cute on the go.

New favourite! Everytime i get a new one its my favourite, but honestly i have loved every single piece I have ordered. They are all well constructed, have great compartments inside to fit easentials and look fabulous.

The colour is a welcome change for summer. Not quite high enough to be able to zipper with my tall Hydroflask water bottle. Otherwise a great bag for work or just errands.

This is the first bag I bought from them. I normally buy expensive bags but this surpassed my expectations. It’s absolutely phenomenal. I love it and I actually I’m just receiving the same downtown but in the cream color.

I love everything about the downtown that I bought one in camel, berry amd cream. My issue is that the cream is not pure cream but a pinky peach color. Quite disappointed as i really wanted cream and that is how it is advertised!!
