I love the compact size and the various different ways I can carry or wear this bag.

I love the amount of space that it captures and looks polished with many outfits. I wish it had dual zippers so that it can zip up to the chest, when wearing cross body than zipping down. Otherwise it has been a good switch from my lole one which is more athletic looking

I took my time making this purchase but wish I had done it sooner. The quality is amazing and the size is perfect.

My favourite purse! I love being hands-free. I walk my dog wearing my sidekick all the time, and it's cute as well as practical! I especially love the attachment for my keys. It's perfect for when I have my hands full, or a squirmy dog on a leash-- no more dropping my keys! 😅
I've purchased vegan leather from other companies in the past, and found that the materials would peel and get worn down or scratched easily. However my bags from Poppy and Peonies have NEVER done that. They've held up and still look great! I will be a life-long customer.

I love this bag the only thing I wish it had was a few more pockets so I can put my AirPods, lipgloss in instead of just throwing it in the bottom but still not a deal breaker. I did have an issue with the first bag I received as the stitches fell out but contacted support and they were beyond fantastic and helpful and replaced it no problem. I will be ordering more 100%

I needed a crossover bag for my trip to Europe this summer. This is the perfect bag! It has enough space to hold my necessities like my wallet, sunglasses, makeup and more. Plus, it will keep my belongings safe from pickpocketers. I’m already thinking of purchasing another sidekick in camel. I absolutely love this bag!

This bag is amazing! Everything you need fits in the bag and this bag is fat proof! I always struggle to find a nice/cute crossbody bag but the strap is always to short. Not with this bag because of the extender! You really deserve a big big compliment for this idea and this really nice that the extender is free. You really include everybody with this, I am a big fan!

the SIDEKICK black

I really wanted to like this bag. It was so nicely packaged. I love the color, the hardware, and all the pocketd and extra storage. It really is a beautiful bag and its exactly my style. However, since I’m looking for a bag I can use for work (I’m a teacher), I really need a sturdy bag that can carry a lot of weight. I usually carry two planners, one (sometimes two) laptops, and papers to grade, plus my large water bottle, umbrella, and wallet and keys. I didn’t
feel confident that the straps could hold all of that weight over a long period of time and in the end I decided that I didn’t want to risk it. I exchanged it for a smaller, every day bag to replace one I’ve had for a while and I’m looking forward to trying more products.

It’s a beautiful backpack, and I like the option to wear it like a purse, but it doesn’t hold as much as I expected based on the video.

I already LOVE this bag…thw color, quality and design is perfect for return to office days.

I really love my backpack, unfortunately it arrived with a hole in the leather on the very front. I immediately contacted customer service, and it’s been over two weeks with no response. Hopefully I hear from them soon after the holidays, and if I do I’ll update this review.

I was debating getting this bag for so long! I looked at countless leather backpacks and none compared to the elegant look or perfect size of the one that Poppy & Peonies has available. I am a law school student and it is the perfect backpack for stylish but functional and carries all my stuff without any issues. I have been using it for a few weeks now and am so happy I made this purchase!

I take the train two hours each way and have a full size laptop to carry. Most bags won’t fit my laptop. This one is great with awesome organization. Would love to see it on white!

I receive a lot of compliments and it’s a great back pack! I love the pockets and the functionality of it!
The belt strap for one of the straps fell off and it made it difficult to keep the shoulder strap in place. I sent a message and Poppy Staff replaced it, waiting for the replacement now. Email contact takes some time but very appreciative of their intentions.

My wife Sandra absolutely luvs luvs luvs this pack. So many useful applications and wonderfully designed. Looks fantastic.

Commuter Backpack chestnut

I needed to switch to a backpack to better manage my things during my walk/bus/subway commute. I love this bag so much! It holds everything I need to bring with me on a daily basis and is much better for my back/posture than what I was using before. And it looks professional at the same time! I've gotten several compliments on it in just a few weeks' time.

Love my commuter backpack.

Wife was looking for a purse / diaper bag replacement. She loves it. Daily talks about how big it really is. Bigger than it looks with a ton of pockets. Looks way better than our diaper bag backpack.

I really wanted to love this bag off the start, but its been a slow burn admiration so far. I've used it for the past 10 days on a trip to Portugal and Spain as the personal item for my laptop (surface pro), water bottle, notebook and novel. I'm still not used to all the pockets and finding the best place for everything to fit in and still be accessible. I find that the laptop sleeve bulges into the main compartment so it hides/tough to access the items in the mesh pockets. I'd really like to have a pen holder as the mesh pockets are too deep put the top pockets are too shallow to keep a pen there. The luggage strap works great to attach to my roller luggage. The straps held up to the travel and the weight of extra souvenirs. I think it will transfer well to a work bag for day to day use, but will not fit as notebooks + laptop+tech case+ lunch bag+ waterbottle combo as I would have hoped.

I Love the look and feel of this backpack. The material feels strong and high quality. The bag is roomy but it is a bit hard to get in there because of how it opens up and it can feel a bit cramped because of the width of the bag and the pockets on the inside. That's why I also bought the lullaby backpack and I love the wide opening on that one and the other pockets on the front because with this bag(the commuter backpack) the front pocket is very snug and barely fits anything in there if you also have filled up de main compartment

overall, I like the backpack. I think it’s very stylish. It’s got good storage. The only thing for me that’s missing is having a Velcro flap or something over to keep the laptop in the back pocket because it can easily slide out if the top is unzipped and you know your bag slides or something like that so I’m just like a little bit more security for the actual pocket where you put your laptop in. It also would be nice to have a little foots on the bottom of the bag just because sometimes you have to put your bag on the ground, especially if your commuter so it keeps your actual bottom part of the bag off the ground.

Haven’t used it yet! But super cute.

The zipper is poor quality. Other than the zipper, it's perfect.
I own 7 other Poppy and Peonies products and the zippers are excellent quality.

I have purchased “several” Poppy & Peonies products and the only negatives that I would share are:
1) The manner in which they are shipped could be improved. Often my products arrive creased in areas that affect the integrity of the bag and I often have to manipulate them to their actual shape
2) The products can be somewhat “heavy” to carry once you have filled them with your belongings. I have often had to take a break from using the bag because of this.
3) Would love to see a re-design for the handles, they are quite stiff and as such sometimes make accessing the core of the bag challenging.

I like this case for holding the essentials and it fits with a lot of the other Poppy and Peonies bags I have purchased.

I love this mini, it holds everything I need and I can see what’s in it. I use it in my purse. It is a bit pricey for a small bag and I was hesitant in buying it. If it goes on sale I’ll buy a couple more for gifts.

I have this in my Go Getter tote holding some of my necessities that I want to locate quickly. I love it!

It's a super-cute little case that fits all the essentials. I like the clear vinyl that lets you see everything at a glance and the easy-to-clean interior. It's a great item to keep my bags organized. I bought one in blush and black. I should have bought more as gifts when they went on sale during the Black Friday Sale (I'll do that next year, for sure!).
