I travelled to Japan recently and bought this wallet specifically for the trip, and it worked great!
Pros: multiple pieces that function well together, I pulled the money wallet out and carried it with me day to day for money, and we had to have our passports on us at all times, the passport cover worked well to store both my and my partner's passports so they were together at all times. I used the large wallet in my carry on and left it at the hotel, but used it to store our receipts so I could keep track of what we needed to claim on our return.
Cons: The overall size of the main wallet is quite large, and didn't fit in my belt bag or even backpack to take with me every day. I would purchase a smaller wallet for travel if I had intended to keep it on me every day.
however, the multi use function of all the pieces together made for a perfect addition to our trip!
